The Earth Angel Consortium is an association of two or more Blaine’s Travel Network® Volunteers, VIPs, Fallen Angels, Heavenly Hosts, Travel Concierges, Franchisees, HotSpots and Non-profit Beneficiaries (or any combination of these entities) with the objective of opening up a dialog, pooling resources and taking action in saving Mother Earth through the reduction of our carbon footprint, personally, locally and globally.
I encourage all HotSpots to join the Earth Angel Consortium and hang a window sticker in their front window and add a web banner to the footer of their website to announce their participation and to help bring awareness to their patrons & passersby, while encouraging other businesses to join the fight saving Mother Earth!
Do you sell eco friendly products that will never end up in a landfill or the ocean or do you make new products by repurposing old ones?
Do you need an online presence to sell your merchandise? I'm offering any individual or business the opportunity to open an online Retail Store* in our Travel Points Gift Mall & Redemption Center, giving you added publicity and increased sales, all the while increasing the total number of Eco Friendly Gifts our VIPs may redeem their Travel Points for!
We supply the Payment Gateways, so you don't have to! Your store will have its own profile page with your logo, banner, company description, rating, products and product categories.
You'll have your own administrative dashboard, where you manage your listings, profile page info, logo and images, set shipping zones, methods and rates, get reports and chat with customers. Add products one by one or in bulk, set coupons and volume discounts, approve, reject and edit product ratings and reviews, update global product options and tabs.
Even though your customers may purchase your products with Travel Points and/or an Online Cash Payment, you will receive payment in Cash for the shipping cost and the merchandise sold (minus the transaction fee).
When I was a kid, I remember taking our soda bottles to the local grocery store and getting a refund of 5¢ for each bottle, unfortunately they stopped this practice years ago and I often wondered why.
Was it a financial headache, did it cause bug infestations at the grocery stores or did the soda companies just want every bottle to look shiny & new holding their delicious products.
Personally, I thought the more scratches and chips the glass bottle had, the better it's contents tasted, sort of like a fine aged wine!
I would love to see the return of the bottle refund, so much so, that I would love to work with any bottler to recreate the Bottle Refund Program (aluminum cans and plastic bottles too), but instead of cash, offer Twenty-Five (25) Travel Points per bottle.
Talk with Bars, Restaurants and Retail Businesses in your neighborhood and organize a "Neighborhood Beautification Raffle & Pub Crawl!" This may include, but not limited to, areas that need sprucing up like vacant lots that need rubber tire removal and mowing, the shoulder along the road that needs the removal of auto parts and sweeping, and even abandoned buildings in the neighborhood that need a fresh coat of paint.
Any trash that is collected should be separated and disposed of properly or sold to recycling plants in the area.
After a fun and eventful day of "Neighborhood Beautification" the Bars & Restaurants in the area will orchestrate a Pub Crawl, offering food and drink, to thank the volunteers for a Job Well Done! Retail businesses may offer prizes for a Raffle at each bar included in the pub crawl.
